Music Ministry

 

We believe in the establishment of proper order for the local Church in its worship. In corporate worship, we believe that there must be reverence for the presence of God since the assembly is the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth. This reverence ought to manifest itself in our decorum. (1 Timothy 3:15). In administration and governance, we believe that God has set forth the ministry of helps and governments for the daily operation of the Church. These functions are also served by the ministries of Pastors, Evangelists (2 Timothy 4:4-5), Elders (Titus 1:5-9), Deacons (Acts 6:1-7, Philippians 1:1, I Timothy 3:8-13), Helpers, Administrators (I Corinthians 12:28 - Amplified), Overseers (Acts 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:2, Hebrews 13:17), and those able and appointed to lead in Music and Worship (I Chronicles 23:1-5)
