God is the kind of God who keeps a careful eye on the widow. He is profoundly concerned for her, together with the stranger and the fatherless. He is righteous and protects them for he is “a father of the fatherless, a defender of widows

The simplest and the most valuable thing you can give to a child is time. Rather than brushing them off to make your way to the next tourist site, spend some time to ask them their names, what they like to do. Our priorities are that children are protected, learning and developing, healthy and well-nourished.

Our purpose driven is to rescue permanently displaced and orphaned children around the world and restore their childhoods in Christ as we raise them to be Disciples and leaders who bring about lasting change right where God planted them.

 

The institution that most strongly protects mothers and children from domestic abuse and violent crime is marriage. Married women with children are far less likely to suffer from violent crime in general or at the hands of intimate acquaintances or strangers.
